Welcome to Pennsylvania Avenue Village East, Inc

Pennsylvania Avenue Village East was founded in 2005 after reading an article called Beacon Hill Village for seniors in Boston, MA. In January 2008 we incorporated in Washington, DC and received our tax exempt under 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Pennsylvania Avenue Village East launched its program April 2009.

Pennsylvania Avenue Village East is a community-based, non-profit organization whose mission is to organize seniors, to serve seniors 65 and over, who lives alone, without family, so they can live a safe, well-balanced, independent life in their own homes, as long as possible.

The Southern quadrant of Ward 7 of the District of Columbia , east of the Anacostia River and within these boundaries: Massachusetts Avenue to north/northeast, Southern Avenue to the Southeast, and to the west, Naylor Road, 25th Street Pennsylvania and Fairlawn Avenue.
